To enter via SMS, let’s say for example you purchased Lovatts Handy ArroWords No.25 and solved the contest puzzle, you would find that the shaded squares spelt out a mystery word. Let’s say this was the word ‘EXCELLENT’. To enter the competition, you would first need to input the Magazine Code as it appears on page 2, then the mystery word, followed by your name and full postal address (using a comma to seperate them if you wish) into an SMS/Text Message on your mobile phone.
It’s vital that the magazine code is entered correctly and appears at the start of the SMS otherwise the entry will not be accepted. Here’s how this example entry would appear:
Successful entries will receive a FREE reply to confirm the entry has been accepted similar to:
'Congratulations, your entry in the Lovatts ArroWords No.25 contest has been accepted;
Winners names will appear in issue 26, on sale 08/05/08. Happy Puzzling!'
Please also make sure that the contest promotional period is still valid by checking the closing date, otherwise you will be sent a FREE reply message along the lines of:
'Sorry, Lovatts ArroWords No.25 contest closed at 9:30am AEST on 10/04/08;

From here, simply select the first and last digits from each of the four lines (contest 1 through to contest 4) to uncover the mystery 8 digit number required to enter.
